Welcome to the Quantabio Blog!

Welcome to the Quantabio Blog! Bet we know what you’re thinking: Does the world really need another blog?

In short, yes! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the amazing work our customers do every day to generate new insights that drive scientific breakthroughs.

If you’re not familiar with Quantabio, allow us to introduce ourselves. We’ve been around since 2001 and we have a rich history of creating market-leading reagents at our headquarters in Beverly, Mass. Today, we provide robust reagent solutions and tools for cloning, NGS, sample prep, cDNA synthesis, PCR, and qPCR.

Sample prep doesn’t often get the glory of its downstream counterparts, like DNA sequencers or spatial biology platforms, but we believe that the entire upstream workflow has to be rock-solid in order to generate the best results. We aspire to provide the highest-performing molecular workflow solutions to enable a better and safer world by rapidly detecting pathogens, genetic diseases, and mutations. (While we’re at it, we help brewers make better craft beer, and beekeepers produce higher-quality honey too.)

Quantabio’s recipe for success is using engineered, application-specific enzymes paired with optimized, tough reagents to yield superior performance. Our products are designed to deliver great results while overcoming even the most challenging samples and environments. They have been cited in more than 3,500 peer-reviewed publications and included in reference protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization. We are in awe of the scientists who use our products and we are inspired to work harder every day to help them achieve even more.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing team. Our people are the very heart of Quantabio. We are a fun, hard-working, multicultural group fueled by passion and creativity. We are committed to developing superior products and applications and to delivering the very best support and service to our customers.

We’ll be using this blog to highlight our customers and employees, to offer product updates and technical support, and to show that we can all have a little fun with sample prep. We invite you to check back for new posts or sign up to get blog content emailed to you. Stay tuned for great science!
